History

Since December 2000 in our history we have supplied timber to all sorts of projects. So from one small piece of Beech for a piece of school homework in Scotland to many containers of Douglas Fir and Oak for a large shipyard in Saudi Arabia.

Wood2Size is a trading name of Timbersource Limited. Historically, Timbersource Limited was originally setup to help supply a wide variety of businesses. From Joiners, Builders, Carpenters, Construction, Museums and International Shipyards to Musical Instrument makers, Flag Pole Manufacturers, and Vehicle Component Manufacturers. Because of its historic success over its initial years and in answer to frequently asked questions, Timbersource enhanced its support to the trade by offering machining services. Which included Planing, Tongue and Groove, Parallel sawing and historically Beam cutting. Additionally as this offering became so popular we were able to extend this service nationwide using various modern logistics methods. Because of this Timbersource was also able to be one of the early adopters of enabling customers to order their bespoke timber online, making great history. This was instantly a huge benefit to trade and domestics users alike.

Our history has been full of innovations and early adoptions which has enabled us to pass these benefits onto others. Because of this we have been able to uniquely identify every single piece of wood we have, to enable us to give the most appropriate and economical piece of wood for all the various projects. So this has enabled people from all around the world to find the exact piece of wood they would like for their project. They then can have it delivered to their door the very next day if in mainland UK.
